About Me

Since April 2004 I have been a Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (ITP) of KIT. My research focuses on theoretical particle physics.
List of Publications

I studied physics at the University of Münster and at the LMU in Munich. After receiving my diploma in 1980, I worked at MPI Munich on my doctoral studies and received my doctoral degree in 1984. This was followed by postdoctoral positions at DESY Hamburg and, starting in 1986, at the University of Wisconsin (UW), Madison. At UW Madison I joined the faculty in 1989 and worked there as a Professor of Physics for the next fifteen years. In 2004, with the start of the LHC program in sight, I moved to Karlsruhe where I have worked on particle physics phenomenology as a Professor in the Physics Department of what is now KIT.
