24.11.2022: Particle Physics Colloquium (posted on: 22.11.2022)

In the upcoming particle physics colloquium (Thursday, 24.11., 15h45), we will have Hartmut Wittig (JGU Mainz) giving a talk on “Hadronic contributions to the muon g-2 from Lattice QCD — Where do we stand?”. The colloquium will take place in Kleiner Hörsaal A, and it will also be transmitted via Zoom.

Today (Tuesday, 22.11., 16h00), we will have a special particle physics seminar by Dmytro Kovalskyi (MIT) on the “Measurement of Bs to mu mu decays with CMS”. The seminar will take place in a hybrid format, in seminar room 6-1 and via Zoom.

In today's ITP seminar (Thursday, 10.11., 14h00), Sergey Volkov, who is currently staying at our institute as a Humboldt Research Fellow, will talk about “High-order calculations of lepton magnetic moments in QED”. The seminar will take place in room 6-1.

28.10.2022: Prize for most pedagogical talk at MU days 2022 (posted on: 28.10.2022)

From 20-21 October 2022, PhD student Lisa Biermann participated in the Helmholtz program days Matter and the Universe 2022 at GSI in Darmstadt and won the prize for the most pedagogical talk! Congratulations =)!
